First Data Gift Card Interface Setup

 

 

Step1: Make sure you have the right executables/libraries

 

You should have rmccwin.exe dated 07/23/2006 or later.

Rmwin.exe dated 04/04/2006 or later

Install OpenSSL - 0.9.7i

Install VXN COM API version 4.2.0.14 – it is 1 DLL file (vxncom.dll)You can manually register it like this:

-         Copy vxncom.dll to c:\windows\System32

-         Run command prompt and go to c:\windows\System32

-         Type:  regsvr32 vxncom.dll

 

Step 2: Setup in RMCCwin

 

Start RMWin.exe – go to Setup | Station Configuration | Misc | Interfaces | Gift Card Interface | select “First Data” – apply this to the master and all stations that are going to be sending GC requests.

 

Start rmccwin.exe, click “Stop” and then File | General Setup

Navigate to “Gift Card Options | Gift Card Interface Type and select “First Data Gift Card”

 

In First Data Gift Card Options enter these fields:

-         Merchant ID

-         Terminal ID (it might have been sent to you as “Alternative Merch ID”

-         User Defined location: (enter any integer value .. for example “1”)

-         DID Registration URL: Unless you were provided with a specific DID Registration URL info, leave this to the default value which is: https://support.datawire.net/production_expresso/SRS.do  - CASE SENSITIVE!!!!!!

-         Primary and Secondary URL: will be filled in automatically upon successful registration

-         Datawire ID: This field will be filled in automatically upon first successful transaction.

 

You can manually register the merchant (retrieve DID, Primary and Secondary URLs) by clicking “Merchant Registration” menu option in the First Data menu.

 

Click OK and restart RMCCWin

 

Step 3: Test from RMPOS

 

Start RMPOS and try to activate a Gift Card.
